About Me
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Statistics at Fudan University in 2013. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in Statistics at Hong Kong University (HKU) in 2018, supervised by Prof. Philip L H Yu. During PhD study, I was also a research assistant at the University of Ottawa, supervised by Prof. Mayer Alvo from 2016 to 2018. After graduation, I joined Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab in 2018.
Currently, I am a Senior Researcher at the Computer Vision Lab in Huawei Noah’s Ark Lab. I am leading a research team in Shanghai. We focus on industrial research in MultiModality LLM and high-level recognition techniques in computer vision in Huawei.
Research Interest
Recently, my research interests include:
- Multi-modality LLM, such as image-text pretrained models, large-scale pretrained models, Unified Understanding and generation MLLMs.
- High-level Recognition Models including 2D/3D Object Detection, Segmentation, Lane detection in Autonomous Driving.
